Vivendi takes 6.2% in Gameloft and 6.6% in Ubisoft
After having largely divested from Activision in 2013 (of which it still owns 5.7%), Vivendi has made
the surprise move of investing in both Gameloft (c.EUR20m at EUR3.75 average price) and Ubisoft
(c.EUR140m at EUR19 average price). Mr Bollore’s move sends a strong signal on both of these
digital content plays, on which we have called for a rerating for two years.
