GENERALIST STAFFING: For this Ideas Engine report, we analysed 503 US occupations to gauge whether the market is accurately pricing the risk of automation for staffing companies. Our proprietary analysis suggests that 67% of temp occupations are at high risk of automation versus 50% for the broader economy. We believe these longer-term headwinds need to be factored into shorter-term valuations; as such, we downgrade Adecco and Randstad to UP (from OP), reducing our TP to SFr 63 (from SFr 75) and to €48 (from €60), respectively.
