western edge of block 1 encountered gas in single gross column
of 289 meters.
* Drill stem test to be performed on discovery; results
expected before end-June
* NOTE: BG holds 60% stake, Ophir 20%; est. for mean
recoverable gas resources at discovery ~1tcf
