manufacturing purchasing managers’ index for Germany in May.
* Index falls to 52.3 from 54.1 in April; Year ago 49.4
* Lowest reading since Oct. 2013
* 11th consecutive month of expansion
* New Orders fall to 52.6 vs 54.5 in April
* Lowest reading since Oct. 2013
* 11th consecutive month of expansion
* Reading above 50 signals expansion, less than 50 a contraction
* Last 3 years headline data {MPMIDEMA Index GP <GO>}
