(Bloomberg) -- Aveva, Hunting had the highest short
interest among potential European takeover targets mentioned in
broker notes, media reports in May.
* Hikma, GlaxoSmithKline saw the biggest rise in short
interest as a % of shares outstanding
HIGHEST SHORT INTEREST:
* Aveva short interest as % of shrs outstanding fell to 2.28%
as of May 29 from 3.1% on May 1

* Co.’s largest short positions is held by Bluecrest
Capital (-0.47%) according to filing dated May 26
* May 17: Sunday Times reported Schneider Electric in
talks about possible Aveva bid

* May 19: Aveva CEO said not in takeover talks with
speculated suitors
* Hunting short interest as % of shrs outstanding rose to 1.3%
as of May 29 from ~1% on May 1
