Apple May Have Sold ~1m Watches Over Weekend: Cowen

(Bloomberg) -- Apple Watch weekend pre-orders could
“easily” be in the range of 1m, which would be a “little
better” than expected, Cowen analyst Timothy Arcuri
(outperform) says.
* Field work suggests Watch appointments are resulting in
~85%-90% pre-order conversion
* Says Apple may announce initial pre-order details this week
* Still sees Apple selling ~3m Watch units in FY3Q, ~7m in
FY4Q
* NOTE: April 10, Piper said Apple’s initial Watch supply
appears “largely sold out” within first 10-30 minutes of
pre-orders
* NOTE: AAPL 37 buy ratings, 16 holds, 2 sells avg. PT ~$141:
