AB InBev Purchase of SABMiller Still Attractive, Canaccord Says

June 20 (Bloomberg) -- AB InBev should bid for SABMiller to
create ABSAB, Canaccord says; raises SABMiller to buy, PT by 27%
to 3,800p.
* Says 1st expressed view 3 yrs ago; transaction still
attractive, reasons for deal haven’t changed
* AB InBev has to decide in next 12-18 mos. whether to extend
LatAm Pepsi franchises for another decade, doing so will
probably rule out a deal
* 2-yr period has opened in which deal will occur or be
shelved for good
* 4,200p bid for SABMiller would be 8% accretive in 2nd yr
