TNT Express chief says it may not remain independent forever (translated)
Story
TNT Express, the Netherlands-based listed postal firm, may not remain independent forever, Financieele Dagblad reported, citing an interview with CEO Tex Gunning.

TNT Express recently restructured its management along various market segments, which makes the company an interesting target for buyers, the item noted, citing interviews with sources familiar with the matter.

The restructuring was announced in February along with the release of 4Q and FY13 results, and split the company into three divisions: Domestics, International Europe, and International AMEA (Asia, Middle East and Africa). Gunning remained as CEO and Bernard Bot as CFO, with Michael Drake also remaining managing director for International AMEA. The Domestics and International Europe divisions appointed two new MDs, respectively: Ian Clough, former DHL North America CEO; and Marco van Kalleveen, formerly of McKinsey and Bain Capital. In addition, Kalleveen was appointed chief transformation officer.
