>>> What to look at today - 15th of October 2019

Japan’s shares jumped on Tuesday as investors there came back from a long weekend to react to the U.S.-China interim trade deal. Elsewhere, optimism about that agreement has faded, with Treasuries advancing.
Equity trading was muted outside of Tokyo, where benchmarks jumped by more than 1.5% -- even outpacing the gains on Wall Street last Friday. Hong Kong’s stocks dipped, Shanghai shares fell, and gauges in Australia and South Korea were little changed. Crude oil dropped, trading below $54 a barrel in New York.
