TELECOM ITALIA Il Sole reports that Vivendi was not pleased with the comments by Orange’s CEO concerning being open to consider a merger with TI if invited to do so. Also reported comments from the Italian Governement clarifying that they never said that they would be happy about an Orange / TI merger.
