SBM CEO, Supervisory Board Member Accused by Brazil Prosecutors
(Bloomberg) -- SBM CEO Bruno Chabas and supervisory board member Sietze Hepkema were accused by Brazilian prosecutors of alleged favoritism in Petrobras corruption case, according to statement by Brazil’s federal prosecutors office.
Brazilian prosecutors are analyzing in which jurisdiction SBM executives will respond to accusation
SBM’s spokeswoman Anne-Guerin Moens declined to comment when contacted by phone
NOTE: Accusation, which works as a recommendation of criminal action, will be submitted to a judge, who will then decide if executives will become defendants
A total of 12 people were accused by prosecutors, including Petrobras executives
