The first round of auction for France-based pharma group Sanofi's [EPA:SAN] generics business in Europe takes place this week, French daily Les Echos reported.
The unsourced report said that investment fund KKR, Apax, CVC, PAI Partners, BC Partners, and Advent, are expected to submit an indicative offer for the business, valued at EUR 2bn.
Rothschild, JPMorgan and Morgan Stanley are handling the auction for Sanofi, the report claimed.
