Vince Cable, the business secretary, told a Business Select Committee hearing this morning that "no decision" had been taken over the payment of the bonus for the £3.3 billion flotation completed on October 10.
He said it could be "months or possibly years" before a decision was made, and added: "It will take some time before we can make an assessment."
