Roberto Cavalli, the Italian fashion house owned by private equity firm Clessidra, has 10 interested parties, Italian-language daily MF Fashion reported. The unsourced report claimed that potential bidders include German fashion group Philipp Plein, other fashion groups and private equity groups.The report said that Clessidra is expected to make a decision on the dossier in the near future
The item said that Roberto Cavalli is expected to break even for 2018 compared to a loss of EUR 33.65m in 2017. The item claimed that the fashion house is expected to return to profit in 2019.
