PT Portugal bidders Apax Partners and Bain Capital to present bid on 28 November
PT Portugal suitors Apax Partners and Bain Capital will make a binding offer for the Portuguese assets of Brazilian telco Oi next week, reported Jornal de Negocios.
Apax and Bain are undertaking due diligence on PT Portugal for their joint offer which will be delivered to Oi on 28 November, the Lusophone business paper reported, citing a source close to the process.
Apax and Bain, which are in the process of finalizing bank financing for their offer, also plan to list PT Portugal, the same sources said. The Apax-Bain bid for PT Portugal values the firm at EUR 7.075bn, compared to the EUR 7.025bn rival offer from Altice.
