Norwegian Air suitor IAG prepares EUR 1.52bn offer
Norwegian Air Shuttle’s [OSL:NAS] suitor International Consolidated Airlines Group (IAG) [LON:IAG] is working on a new NOK 330 per share offer, up 31.7% on the NOK 250.5 the airline closed on Friday, Expansion reported. The offer will total EUR 1.52bn, according to the unsourced report.
On Friday Norwegian closed down 7.43% after IAG chairman Willie Walsh ruled down a bidding war.
Sources from IAG and Norwegian declined to comment, the Spanish-language paper said.
