NN Group keeping an eye open for acquisitions

Netherlands-based insurance company NN Group [AMS:NN] is keeping an eye open for acquisitions, NN Group CEO Lard Friese said in an interview with the Dutch daily De Telegraaf.
Friese said that NN Group is focusing on growth and acquisitions can help in achieving it. If there are opportunities to acquire a company, NN Group will seriously look into it, Friese said.
NN Group is rumoured to be interested in Dutch insurance company Vivat, which is currently owned by Chinese company Anbang. Friese declined to comment on this specific opportunity, but did say that at the moment, there is no need for NN Group to make a big acquisition in The Netherlands.
