Imagination Technologies the subject of bid chatter this week
Imagination Technologies [LON:IMG], a UK-based microchip designer, was the subject of bid chatter this week, according to a Financial Times report. The newspaper’s Small Cap Week column did not cite a source for the speculation, and did not name any potential bidders.
As previously reported, Imagination Technologies this month announced the departure of CEO Hossein Yassaie. Imagination also said it would conduct an operational review and a restructuring, the item noted.
Imagination Technologies' share price closed 7.5p up at 150.5p in London yesterday, 12 February, valuing the company at GBP 412m (EUR 530m).
