Just to update readers, Gemalto is said to be progressing well. A new bidder besides Oracle has apparently joined the fray. Could it be Siemens? All of this should eventually be enough to push the stock above the €75 which has been implied.
Good progress is said to have been made over the weekend, hence this Monday update. We note the latest Goldman Sachs note on Gemalto which adopts a “nothing to see here tone.” This will most likely have the effect of shaking out the last of the weak bulls.
Hopefully our friends in Holland can go with the story. I used to write for the top financial website there 17 years ago(!), and perhaps they can do their own research?
