Fedrigoni attracts joint bid from Edizione and Investindustrial
Edizione, the holding of the Benetton family, has teamed up with private equity firm Investindustrial in a renewed bid for Fedrigoni, an Italian paper manufacturer, Il Sole 24 Ore reported. The Italian-language daily cited market rumours.
Edizione had previously teamed up Singapore sovereign wealth fund Temasek, the item noted. However, the item said that those talks broke down because Edizione and Temasek offered EUR 500m, while the Fedrigoni family was asking for EUR 650m-EUR 700m.
