CONWERT
Regarding the article over the weekend claiming that Umek (Petrus) was interested in acquiring all Haselsteiner shares of conwert Foundation for the price of ten euros per share.
We reached out to K.Umek for a comment:
Umek says that
“ he mentioned this during the Makor organised meeting in london “ (March 11th).
“we had a deal proposal for hasel to split up the company at book, 12,5 tax free for all. he did not react. we then asked whether he wanted to sell. gave 10 as the price. he did not react”
SO the article is true and in our view, if the offer fails, one may expect Conwert could be a trading buy at c.Eur 10 per share or less.
