Compagnie du Mont-Blanc buys Societe des Remontees Mecaniques de Megeve for EUR 14mThe French ski and leisure parks operator Compagnie du Mont-Blanc has bought a majority stake in the ski resort Societe des Remontees Mecaniques de Megeve. The transaction was closed on 1 December.This was announced by the law firm LexCase that advised the buyer alongside Mazars. Ratheaux, ADP Avocats and Grant Thornton supported the vendors. The transaction was financed by Credit Agricole des Savoie and Banque Populaire des Alpes.According to France 3, the transaction amounted to EUR 14m. Daily La Tribune mentioned that the owners, Megeve mayor and SFHM, a holding company of the Rothschild family, retain a minority stake.
