Signs nationwide framework contract to offer fiber optic networks operated by TDF
This week Bouygues Telecom and TDF signed a nationwide framework contract enabling Bouygues Telecom to market its offers on all of the fiber optic networks operated by TDF. For TDF, this contract underlines the validity of its positioning as an impartial and open fiber infrastructure operator, less than one year after entering this market. It also enables a first operator, Bouygues Telecom, to market its FTTH very-high-speed offers in all of the zones covered by TDF’s networks. At the beginning of 2017, TDF was chosen by its first two local authorities, represented by Val d’Oise Numérique and Yvelines Numériques, to connect 200,000 premises in order to provide very-high-speed internet to people living in less densely populated areas.
