ACS environmental unit Urbaser main suitor is Suez Environment; could close deal this week
Suez Environnement appears to be the main candidate to acquire ACS environmental unit Urbaser, El Economista reported citing sources with knowledge of the process. According to the Spanish-language report, ACS wants to close a deal this week.
The transaction is worth more than EUR 2bn, the paper said.
ACS seeks to reduce net debt of EUR 3.88bn, El Economista noted.
Societe Generale and BBVA have the mandate to sell Urbaser.
